All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.

About the Institute

Mission

As the Siddhartha Gautama set out to find the cause of suffering in our world and if possible find a way stop or ease this suffering our mission is to promote the teachings of the Buddha in a modern and relatable way to help ease suffering in our world.

What Types of Submissions Are Acceptable

Some examples of submissions could be

  • original translations from one language to another,
  • or a new perspective on a sutra or teaching.

Where Will Submissions Be Posted

All accepted submissions will be posted on our website to align with the Dharma Institutes mission of promoting the Buddhas teachings for all beings.
