 If you are in an abusive relationship, experiencing depression, feeling lost in life, or simply looking for some time away from it all, then this retreat is for you.

Our Refuge Retreat is an open and safe community where you can allow anxiety and fear to ease away and allow peace and calm to arise. While here you can listen to Dharma talks, practice meditation, practice mindfulness, socialize, focus on your well-being, and some Center related activities. All activities are skillfully and lovingly designed to help you nurture your well-being.

In this preparatory retreat over the course of 5 days you'll remove yourself from all of the luxuries and conveniences modern life offers (cellphones, comfortable home, fancy meals, and more) so that you may explore more deeply your own Buddhist or personal spirituality through silent meditation.

Teen Retreat

Teens face challenges  everyday that they often don't talk about with peers or parents.


 Under the supervision of a senior Dharma teacher and with peer level support, our teen retreat allows for your precious young adult to learn Buddhist centered mindful skills helping them develop and nurture their well-being, healthy mindsets, and boundaries in a world that is often difficult to navigate.

Camping supplies (tent and sleeping bag) are freely provided.


This event is suitable for ages 13 - 17 and levels of practice.

Couples Retreat

This is a wonderful retreat designed for any couple who desires to seek to improve their relationship using mindfulness. Couples will engage with each other and other couples, under the guidance of our Founder in a relaxing, back to nature setting.


Space is limited to 4 couples.

Vipassana Meditation

Vipassana means to see things clearly and as they truly are. Without proper training it’s very difficult to see past the disillusions presented to us in everyday life. Our disillusionment is the result of social constructs and bias as well as our own prejudice and bias towards ourselves and others.


As such, we live in a dissatisfied state of existence continually looking for peace, harmony, and balance.


Originating in India, Vipassana was rediscovered by Buddha over 2,500 years ago and has been continually taught since and is a remedy for eradication of mental impurities resulting in lasting happiness and liberation. 


What Vipassana is:

  • It is a technique that will eradicate suffering.
  • It is non-sectarian and is suitable for all religions, faiths, and non-religious individuals.
  • It is a method of mental purification allowing one to face life's problems in a calm, balanced way.
  • It is an art of living that one can use to make positive contributions to society.


What Vipassana is not:

  • It is not a religious ceremony based on blind faith.
  • It is neither an intellectual nor a philosophical debate.
  • It is not a vacation or an opportunity for social interaction.
  • It is not an escape from the troubles and difficulties of everyday life.
